Quietly tucked away in a cobbled courtyard only yards from Dinan's thriving market square, this delightful town cottage with its own large garage, has been carefully restored and furnished to give spacious and comfortable accommodation for 2. There are 5 restaurants within a few metres of the cottage. Walk just a little further and you will find one of the best boulangeries in town with mouthwatering tarts and freshly baked bread and croissants. All that Dinan has to offer - its ramparts, château, timber framed houses, art and craft galleries, restaurants, shops and much, much more - is within easy walking distance of the cottage.

Tackle the famous steep rue Jerzual which connects the port and the old town. Tour the medieval centre with timber framed houses and magnificent buildings straight from the Middle Ages. Climb the 158 steps of the Tour de l’Horloge for a view over the town and surrounding countryside. See the magnificent viaduct and the port 250 feet below from the Jardin Anglais. Walk the ramparts and visit the castle museum. Cycle or stroll along the towpath to the ‘chocolate box’ pretty village of Léhon. Or take the opposite direction to the equally pretty Port Lyvet where the river Rance becomes tidal. Take a boat trip from Dinan port to St Malo to enjoy the stunning riverside scenery. Explore the walled city of St Malo where pirates and explorers once sailed from.
Visit the casino & film festival (September) at the ‘Belle Epoque’ resort of Dinard. Feast on oysters fresh from the sea at Cancale. Climb to the top of Mont St Michel – one of the wonders of the western world. Sun yourself on any of the clean sandy beaches from St Malo or Dinard along to Pleneuf Val André.
Play a round of golf on one of the half dozen beautiful courses nearby. Blow away the cobwebs at Pointe du Grouin between St Malo & Cancale. See Fort la Latte, where ‘The Vikings’ was filmed. Go to a different market each day. Sample the traditional galettes (pancakes) and Breton cider.
