A fully restored 17th Century Breton cottage, retaining many original features including oak beams throughout an original granite armoire. As you enter the property you will walk into the lounge/diner full of Breton charm with wood burner set into a large Breton fireplace. Kitchen area contains cooker microwave, fridge, toaster,coffee maker. A washing machine is on the 1st floor. 2 Bedrooms are on the 1st & 2nd floors. Both have en-suite shower rooms and are full of character. Relax outside on your private patio area, complete with BBQ or use our picnic area next to a stream. Partake in traditional French games at our Boules area.
Ideally situated for family holidays. 20 minutes from the famous medieval town of Dinan and 30 mins from the North Coast. Easily reached from St Malo. Get off the ferry and have breakfast at the house. Resident British owners, offering Aromatherapy or Remedial Massage.

This cottage is perfectly placed just outside St Domineuc where you have a Boucherie, Boulongerie, Epicerie, Brasserie, Tabac & Bar, 2 Restaurants, Post Office. Bridle paths along the canal are suitable for cycling, or hire a kayak/canoe. Within 10 mins drive you can explore Combourg and it's beautiful Chateau open to public, this character village has a selection of restaurants, also a pizza house for the young and 2 large supermarkets. Sandy beaches can be found at Dinard or St Malo. Along the coast to the port of Cancale famous for it's shellfish restaurants. St Malo is well worth a visit you will be enchanted by the place. The city walls were heavily bombed during WWII but they have been completely restored and you can walk all the way around the old town atop them. Inside the walls there are a wide range of tourist shops to be browsed and restaurants to be savoured. From Saint Malo you can take a ferry boat to Channel Islands.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooker, fridge freezer, toaster, microwave, coffee maker and washing machine. Living area is a large traditional comfortable room with Breton Fireplace, English TV, DVD player. Stairs lead to 1st floor landing & double bedroom with exposed beams and ensuite shower room. 2nd floor has twin bedroom, exposed beams ensuite shower room. Front door leads onto the patio area with BBQ and furniture, front forcourt with private parking area then opens onto picnic area, play area and boules are. There is also a selection of board games and reading materials available for use by guests. Shower Rooms contain a shower, a sink and a toilet. Baby packs include Cot or Zed bed, high chair and stair gates.
