A beautifully renovated light and airy longere definitely with the WOW factor.
Sleeps 6/8 people. Set in an acre of garden, a large patio with table and barbeque for alfresco dinning, a swimming pool for very hot days. Fantastic vaulted open plan living space with a large superbly appointed kitchen, range cooker, full size dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer. In the dinning area a large oak dining table easily seats 8.
In the lounge area comfy sofas and a chair around a wood burner just in case of chilly evenings, or just for convivial get togethers. On the mezzanine reached by open tread wooden stairs there are two sofas, if you want peace and quiet, or you can watch the TV, or use the play station(bring your own games)/DVD player, a library with over 200 films, radio internet connection (bring own computer) and possible sleeping for 2 youngsters on the pull out daybed. Downstairs there are two beautiful light and airy bedrooms, one a twin, the other a double with an antique double bed. The large modern family bathroom has bath with a shower. The beamed master bedroom is reached by rustic open tread wooden stairs and is a haven of peace and tranquillity with its 5ft bed white French furniture and a sofa just for you; it has its own en-suite shower room.

Ty Griffett is in a very rural and quiet location, yet only minutes from the local supermarket and patisserie, 10 minutes from the nearest town of Pontivy; a beautiful little market town on the river Blavet. Pontivy is an old town with cobbled street, timber buildings, and some fantastic little shops and restaurants.
Vannes is the closest seaside town about 40 mins drive, again a beautiful town with old harbour, timber houses, wonderful restaurants and shops the beach are on the outskirts and some are sandy some small rocky coves.
There is so much history in the area, old churches, St Nicodem is very interesting. Château’s at Josslin, Pontivy, Largoet, Sarzeau. Lavoir in Baud and Vannes (where people did their washing in the river) Medieval towns, Dinard, Moncontour. Mont St Michael well worth a days outing. Zoo at Pont-Scoff. Lac au Duc Plomerel a beautiful lake either for walking, picnicking around or sailing on. Port St Louis Museum of the French India Company. Lorient WW11 U-boat base Carnac ancient standing stones/megaliths. Shops and Markets there are markets in just about every town and it would be possible to visit a different one every day and buy cheeses, bread, fish, meats, or just to nose around at all the nicnacs.
Closer to home it is possible to rent canoes on the Blavet or canal, go horse riding, rent bicycles, go fishing, play golf, tennis, walking along the quiet country lanes. There are easy walks along the canal and the scenery is wonderful.
BUT most of all we must not forget the two hour lunches, with the French food and wines and the whole ambiance of the French way of living.

All bedding, towels, etc are included in the price.
On the mezzanine there is a sofa and a daybed that pulls out into 2 single beds. Also there's a TV, play station II/DVD player (bring your own games), there is a library of over 200 DVDs. Wireless connection to the internet (bring you own laptop) if you want to contact the outside world. Enough seating though out the house to spend time relaxing in peace and quiet away from it all.
The kitchen has everything, range cooker, a full size dishwasher, washing machine, microwave/grill/oven, fridge/freezer, enough cutlery plates, cups etc for 12.
There are two comfy sofas and a squidgy chair around the wood burner in the lounge area just in case the evenings are chilly. Or there is a small pool for when the weather is hot. On the patio is a large BBQ and a table seating 8 so there is plenty of room for alfresco dinning or just sitting and relaxing.
