Two gites within a courtyard setting, five minutes from Lac de Guerledan in the heart of Brittany. One 4 bedroomed house sleeping up to 8 with a large open plan living area and a two bedroom cottage sleeping 4/5 with living kitchen. The two can be interlinked for larger groups and guests have use of a covered BBQ area that leads to a picnic/play area within the garden offering views of the river Blavet. Leave your car and stroll along the flowery village of St. Aignan with its two bars, one with restaurant, a butchers and a village shop where fresh bread is delivered daily. 'Le Touldren' is the perfect tranquil setting from which to explore the charms of Brittany whilst being within easy reach of the bustling town Pontivy.

A five minute drive or a longer walk brings you to Lac de Guerledan. Around its shores are several places where activities such as watersports and mountain biking are on offer, with bars, restaurants & childrens play areas. Walking is very popular in the surrounding peacefull and unspoilt countryside, there are routes to suit all levels of ability and energy! The village of St. Aignan also has a muti-media center, tennis courts and a museum. The Nantes-Brest canal runs along side the river and has a path that goes right through to Pontivy. Pontivy is our nearest large town with many bars, restaurants, charming shops & the Chateau de Rohan.

Each gite has smoke alarms and electric heaters for the colder months, with kitchens fully equipped. Videos are available on hire for lazy rainy days, they do happen, or entertaining the children whilst you sip wine in the courtyard.

Laburnum house has 4 bedrooms over two floors, each floor having its own shower and toilet, with a spacious kitchen and living area. The house dates back to 1840 and has a large granite fireplace, exposed beams and other character features. A 'Z' bed and cot are available for any extra little people.

This cottage has 2 bedrooms over two floors each with its own shower and toilet, and a kitchen come living area with downstairs toilet. This was the original farm house with upstairs feature fireplace and exposed beams.
