'La Bon Vie' is a spacious well equipped Breton cottage situated in the tranquil village of Ste.Anne,in St.Dolay,which is famous for its old gothic style chapel.The cottage has three bedrooms and can sleep five people.It Has a large living room, and a spacious fully equipped kitchen/dining room.We are Ideally situated,with the Vilaine river,old port town of La Roche Bernard, the beaches at Penestin and the famous La Bretesche golf course all within easy reach of us.

We are situated in South Brittany, close to the old port town of La Roche Bernard which is situated between Vannes and Nantes, with the picturesque Guérande Peninsula lying to the south and the Rhuys Peninsula extending to the north, skirting the entrance to the magnificent Gulf of Morbihan.

The French Yachting School (Ecole Française de voile) at the port of La Roche Bernard offers beginner and advanced courses in yachtmanship for all ages, together with canoe and kayak rental facilities.

La Roche Bernard offers a variety of restaurants and eateries, ranging from simple snack bars to temples of haute cuisine offering a range of local produce from both land and sea.

La Bretesche golf course is situated in Missillac,in the Loire Atlantic,which is a few minutes away by car from our cottage and is a must visit just to see the fantastic chateau viewed across the lake.

At 12 miles away the river port of Redon lies at the intersection of the Vilaine and the Nantes-Brest canal. It has a beautiful abbey church and numerous 15th-18th century corbelled town houses. A visit to the river craft museum (Musée de la Batellerie de l’Ouest) is a must. From Redon, head towards the low-lying valley of the Ouest and visit the magpie colony at Saint-Vincent-sur-Ouest.

Around 20 miles away is the stunning town of Rochefort-en-Terre, with its stunning looking cobbled streets set within the chiseled rocks of the surrounding countryside.With plenty of places for refreshments it is well worth a visit.

You enter the cottage into the fully equipped and spacious kitchen/dining room. Off the dining area you have the large and bright living room with a large french grandfather clock,leather chesterfields and English satelite television. From the dining area you climb the winding oak staircase to the small landing,from which you access: The carpeted double bedroom,with furniture. The carpeted twin room with seperate wardrobe/dressing room. And the 'blind' single room with oak floor. Outside there is a patio area with flower beds and table and chairs, ideal for those lazy evenings with a glass of vin rouge. There is constant hot water. And timed central heating for the winter months. Strictly no smoking inside the cottage.
