Our Swimming Pool in Brittany

Our 16th century Breton farmhouse has recently been completely renovated to include every modern convenience, e.g. central heating, all rooms en suite, etc, whilst retaining a wealth of 'olde worlde' charm with its huge beams and spiral stone staircase in its own tower. It is set in lovely gardens with a large heated swimming pool, courtyard, terrace and children's play areas. It offers a peaceful and private setting for your Chambre D'Hote (B&B) break in a rural area ideal for both exploring and relaxing: just a 15 minute walk from Gouarec with its bars, restaurants, min-golf and local shops, and a ten minute drive from Lac de Guerledan with its lovely, safe sandy beaches.
There's lots to see and do for everyone water sports, cycling, walking, horse riding, sight seeing, castle, churches, etc. A superb location for all the family. We are open all year.

All our bedrooms can be adapted to suit a family with the addition of single bed/s and/or cot.
In all our rooms there are books and magazines, and local information on what to see and do to read, a clock radio and hairdryer. In the sitting room, there is a wood burner set in a huge original granite fireplace and comfortable seating.
There is satellite television with English programmes and both a video recorder and a DVD player with a number of different films for you to watch, and also games and books. In fine weather breakfast will be served outside in the courtyard, and consists of a choice of breads (usually home-made), home made jams, yoghourt, fruit juice and coffee or tea. If you would like an evening meal you can arrange this at breakfast time on a daily basis.
There is a patio area with a table, chairs and sunshade, and barbecue, a safe lawn area with swings for children and outside games, and you also have the use of our heated swimming pool from 27 May to 2 Sept 2006.
Out of season you can book one of our gites on a per night basis which gives you the use of a private sitting room and cooking facilities but also you can have breakfast served to you.
Well behaved dogs are welcome.
There is ample parking in our grounds.

'La Chambre Rouge' is on the ground floor so it is accessible for those with mobility problems and wheelchair users. It has a king size bed, comfortable chairs, and an en suite 'wet' room.

All prices include Bed and Continental Breakfast.

EVENING MEALS (by arrangement)
3 course evening meals (including wine and coffee) available on request - 15 euros per adult and 7 euros for the under 12s Vegetarians, and other dietary requests can be catered for.
