Set in the quiet, unspoilt countryside of central Brittany close to the medieval city of Josselin, Menhir Ty is the ideal location for an escape to a more tranquil time. Just right for lazing about, walking, cycling, fishing, golf; within 45 minutes drive of the sunny beaches of the southern coast of Brittany; an hour from the rugged and beautiful coast of northern Brittany; set close to the beautiful Forest of Lanouée, Menhir Ty is perfectly situated for your holiday.

Indulge in the activity of your choice, visit numerous chateaux in the area or just while away the time. For those so inclined, your hostess, Joy Swindells also offers art and painting classes for visitors.

Renoir is offered for short breaks, weekly, fortnightly, or any combination of periods to suit your needs. We should be pleased to discuss discounted rates for stays in excess of four weeks - particularly during low-season periods.

Our gite, 'Renoir', offers ground floor accommodation with 2 double bedrooms and can sleep between four and six guests. This gite-apartment is designed to be fully wheelchair accessible and has a kitchenette, dining area and lounge. 'RENOIR' has the feature of an original Breton fireplace incorporating a traditional wood-burning stove. This apartment is tastefully decorated and is largely furnished with traditional French antiques.

Our gite, 'Cezanne', offers first floor accommodation with two double bedrooms and can sleep four guests. This gite-apartment is light and airy overlooking the central courtyard of the complex. There is an open plan lounge/diner which includes a compact, well equipped kitchen. The apartment is furnished throughout with traditional and antique furnishings, giving that real Breton cottage feel to this accommodation. Heating is by electric radiators in each room.

This is a ground floor gite-apartment with all facilities. The apartment opens out onto the central communal area which has barbeque, tables, chairs and other conveniences. The communal area enjoys a south/west aspect for those who like to laze in the sun. The apartment has one bedroom and and a fold out bed in the salon, and can sleep 2-4 guests. The main salon also includes the kitchen dining area with table and all facilities.
